Yea for HIGH SPEED Internet!!!

I feel like I have taken a leap until this century. I got high speed Internet. It took me 5 min. to load my pictures instead the usual 45. I hated it but I loved to add the pictures so I put up with it.

The reason for the leap is because Bubba got me the web cam and I hated to have a great gift like that sitting and not getting use. Now I can talk to Ben and Lizzie every day and they may feel more comfortable with the chat with Nana on the computer.

I added some more of the engagement pictures so I could get some pictures of the 2 happy families at the big event. There was 20 people there and if you look at the pictures of the people at the tables you will see the pictures were taken at each end of the tables.

Luke 20:34

Jesus replied, “Marriage is for people here on earth.

This has the stamp of approval!!!

This is REALLY Digging out!!!

The grandchildren are forever leaving there fun things in the yard and grandpa puts them in the garage...well this time it didn't happen. That didn't stop Chase and Gabi from digging out their car so they could have there fun.

This has been a winter we won't soon forget around here. I work for a propane company so "deegree day" (those are the days that it takes to heat your home) are very important information to the business. Believe me, we have had heating days since Oct. Oct. Nov. and Dec. have been colder than normal. Looks like Jan. is going to follow the patern. Gee, where is global warming...oh wait, from what I have heard this is all part of the big picture of global warming. BROTHER!!! Any way I better not go there.

It was a great weekend to just kick back and let the little ones play and the big ones just catch their breaths. Ok, I am good to go...now on with spring. I LOVE spring and summer and the only thing wrong with fall is winter comes after it!!!

Now to think about the good things...spring is coming and the days are getting longer. Did I mention spring is coming and we have more day light, oh yea. I did!!

Ecclesiastes 3:1

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

Genesis 1:14

And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark
seasons
and days and years,

1 Thessalonians 5:18

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

My circumstances right now is winter...I will give thanks to God for creating winter...we need it, although I don't see why Hawaii doesn't have it and gets along fine...but I will also thank God for putting me in this state that has winter and all this snow. Thank you Jesus.

Good Bye 2008, Hello 2009

Since it is the first day of the new year I was thinking of last year. It was packed full for us. I love taking pictures and as I was looking through what I had taken last year it told a lot about what happened in the year. Some things were good, some very sad. In March we lost a granddaughter we never had a chance to meet. We took a trip to the Bahama, something I NEVER thought I would get to do. Bitter sweet.

We had some puppies, a son join the Army and we took a trip to VA to visit. A couple of trips to Lake MI and on one occasion took one of the grandsons which we haven't heard the end of.

In May we lost my father suddenly although we knew it 'could" be any time. In June my X-father-in-law passed and then in July my husbands best friends father passed. In Oct (see pictures) our oldest son Aaron got married. Then at Christmas Bubba ask his girlfriend to be his wife. Terrilynn & fam. purchase a faboulous new home, Niki finds out she is getting a home of her own for her and her two kids because of God's goodness and faithfulness!!

This year promises to hold some great times and probably some not so great times. That is just the way life is but I am so glad in the uncertainty of thing we have a God who is always faithful. A God that is the same yesterday, today and will be the same tomorrow.

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

In uncertain time it is very comforting to know God is never changing!!!
